Randy "Dobie" Reese        Drums
Growing up in a musical family meant that Randy had no choice but to become a musician. Taking the stage (wooden box) for the first time at the early age of 7 with his guitar (tennis racket) and microphone (broomstick nailed to said wooden box) and belting out such mega hits as "I Want to hold Your Hand" and "She Loves You Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" with little sister Cindy. The duo was an overnight success and soon became a legend (in Randy's own mind). Randy had found his calling…Stardom!
After puberty, and 'beginner band' in elementary school, where he endured a hellish and rigorous two weeks of beginning drum lessons, Randy eventually became "Dobie the Drummer", a self proclaimed Rock Star, frequently mistaken for other, more famous (real) rock stars. His family, wrought with the fear of Randy's obvious pending stardom, thought it would be a good idea to move Randy from Ohio, home of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame…no coincidence there he's sure…to Arkansas…where nothing EVER happens…
Consequently, right out of high school, Dobie began touring the country with his drums and a "custom" van (residence) in search of other self proclaimed rock stars…. of which he found many. During that search, Dobie had the privilege of working with (opening for) some of those 'other, more famous' rock stars such as "Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids", "The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band", "Head East", Styx, John Anderson, Mel McDaniel, the Original Texas Playboys to name just a few.
OK...so they're not ALL rock stars…
Finally, after more than 30 years of searching, drumming, traveling from coast to coast, and becoming nearly famous, Dobie the Drummer has found his home…

Joe Twist            Springdale Arkansas        Bass & Guitar
As a musician and electronic technician by trade, I usually find myself repairing music equipment or just having fun playing through it. Coming from a huge family of  musicians it just came natural to pick up instruments early on in life. The electronic side came from a curiosity as a boy to know what was going on inside equipment such  as guitar amps and sound gear. After high school I went through through college and  studied math and electronics. Twenty five years later I now own a small electronic repair   business that specializes in music equipment.
Through the years I've been in several local area bands usually playing lead guitar and occaisionally filling in on bass. I now play bass exclusively for Sarah Brown and  The Neighborhood, a local band based here in Northwest Arkansas.

Sarah Brown         Keybords and Vocals
I started singing when I was a toddler and have only grown to love music more and more in the years since then. I started out singing in church and choral environments, and when I was in college I had the opportunity to tour briefly with two different gospel groups. I also play keyboards, and am an amateur guitar and saxaphone player, as well. After college I took a break from public performing for a few years and began concentrating on writing my own music. In 2006 I was recruited by a two-man variety band. I sang with them until early 2008. During that time, as a solo act I was chosen Joplin's 2007 Idol and got to open for the annual Boomtown days festival, which featured country groups Restless Heart, Blackhawk, and Little Texas. After leaving the two-man band in pursuit of more beneficial opportunities for myself, I played keyboards and sang with a couple different groups, while honing my skills and searching for a permanent place for myself in the music world with other musicians with goals similar to mine. In September 2008 I was contacted by a drummer from Northwest Arkansas who seemed to be on the same page as me. That was the beginning of what is now called Neighborhood. Over time the pieces have fallen into place and I am extremely proud of the result. We have been told numerous times that there is something magic about our band. I agree wholeheartedly--come out and see us and you'll understand, too! We love to play, and our set list includes cover songs across all genres. Our main focus is playing private parties, dances, and festivals. We are currently booking for Fall 2009 dates.
